The College of Engineering, serving as an engine of growth for the Gwangyang Bay Area, is carrying our large-scale national projects worth over KRW 70 billion and is developing experts who have creative and "glocal" abilities to solve problems and to lead research activities in the Area through active academia-industry cooperation.
Architecture is a field of study that combines artistic creativity with cutting-edge technologies in order to solve problems relating to our life environment. The Department aims at development of the students’ creative potential so that they can contribute to the welfare of individuals, local communities, the nation, as well as development of architectural culture through their activities in the field of construction. Our various educational programs pursue harmony between theories and practice and also between contemporary values and traditional culture so that the graduate can help create the culture of future architecture.
